​City & Guilds Level 3 Diploma in Dog Grooming

 

The City and Guilds Level 3 7863-03 Diploma is suitable for experienced groomers.

 

We can tailor the dog grooming course to your needs. If there is no need for training/ a dog grooming course, then Heavenlyz can deliver the assessment at your workplace providing it meets certain criteria.

The Level 3 7783-03 Diploma for professional dog stylists has a pre-requisite of the City and Guilds 7763-02 Level 2 certificate for dog grooming assistants and to hold a Heavenlyz Level 3 Emergency Pet Care qualification.

To gain the Level 3 Diploma for Dog Grooming with Heavenlyz, candidates must undertake assessments for the following: –

​

• Unit 301 health and safety, legislation and code of practice for the dog grooming industry

• Unit 302 prepare, styling and finishing

• Unit 303 health checking and handling a dog in a dog grooming environment

• Unit 304 customer service and record keeping in a dog grooming environment

​

As part of the assessment you will be required to undertake a 2 hour online short answer theory examination. This will be sat under exam conditions at our Derby Head Office site.
