Courses
After teaching Dog Grooming for a number of years, I have firm and practiced methods of the best way of learning the trade. It is more or less based on 90% practical experience,with a small amount of theory work covered.
At all times there will be a maximum of four students, so very much a highly focused method of one to one tuition is given. I am devoted to teaching to the highest of standards that I practice in my own work as a Canine Beautician contributing to the rising success of my own business Canine Barbers Dog Grooming.
We aim to cater for the complete novice groomer up to a more experienced groomer wanting to inprove their skills.We can also offer bespoke training courses, giving you the opportunity to design your own grooming programme.

Step 1 - Taster day This is a one day taster course £150

Step 2 - TDGA intro Course for beginners 4 days priced at £499
Then progress to Our new Aim Award Qualification New 15 day Qualification course , then work to wards a Aim Level 3 Certificate and or Aim L3 Diploma
The AIM Level 3 award, certificate & diploma Qualifications are Nationally Accredited & Ofqual Regulated
Step 3 - Aim Level 3 Award is a 15 Day course with is learning all about the preparation to dog grooming
This will give you the opportunity to work( get employed in a salon) to become a groomers assistant (Bathing and drying and prepping a dog)
Step -4 Aim Level 3 Certificate this is the Commercial grooming course You will learn how to prep and groom various coat types learn how to complete a basic clip on a commercial groom.
Mandatory Heavenlyz First Aid with the certificate and Diploma courses.
Step 5 - to progress on to the Higher Diploma
This is to learn all the breed standard specifications
