This qualification is designed for individuals looking to enter the dog grooming industry without prior experience, as well as for those currently working in the field or seeking to enhance their confidence and skills in grooming their own dogs.
This program offers an introduction to dog grooming along with the relevant legislation governing the profession. Participants will acquire skills in bathing, drying, and maintaining coats of all types, with a strong focus on safe working practices and animal welfare. Upon successful completion, learners can advance to higher-level qualifications in the animal care sector, such as the Level 3 Certificate in Dog Grooming or the Level 3 Diploma in Dog Grooming, or pursue employment in this industry.

Entry Requirements:

Learners must be 16 years or older.

No prior experience is required.

Comfort around dogs of various sizes, breeds, and temperaments is essential.
