Canapus Violante (Alice to her family and friends) arrived at the N.E.C. bright and early on Sunday 10th March, hound day.
Alice is now nine and a half years old and, for the first time , was entered in the veterans class (bitches over 7 years). The veterans is a tough class to be in as many older champions are to be found in that group.
Alice performed well in the ring and ,thanks to all the hard work that Stephanie put in on her coat, looked fabulous.
There were 14 excellent dogs in the class and when it came to the final assessment Alice was placed third by the German judge,a great result as many of the countries best dogs turn out for Crufts.
Her owner, Geraldine and Geoff who handled her, were delighted with the result. Thanks Stephanie for your efforts on Alice’s behalf.
